England update: Jarell Quansah ruled out
Jarell Quansah will be absent from England's FIFA World Cup qualifying match against the Latvian side due to a physical issue and the player – who did not take part in England's 3-0 friendly victory over the Welsh team at Wembley – will return to his club Bayer Leverkusen.
He has been a regular in Leverkusen's backline this season but the national squad said no additional squad replacements were scheduled for the qualification match in Riga on Tuesday.
England could qualify for next year's World Cup with two matches to remaining if they defeat their opponents on Tuesday and results in other matches in their qualifying group go their in their favor.
Preamble
It’s make or break for Ireland, though their chances of reaching the World Cup may already seem dead. A familiar figure in Cristiano Ronaldo awaits them, and Portugal are top of Group F. At Sporting Club’s stadium, Ireland confront a huge challenge.
Our other main focus will be reigning European champions Spain, who have triumphed in all their matches so far in Group E, against the Georgian team, who have never qualified for a finals and are targeting for the playoffs. Khvicha Kvaratskhelia has been a question and Liverpool supporters will get a opportunity to see Giorgi Mamardashvili.
